Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Sam, and I am a Georgia native and a four-time graduate of the University of Georgia. For more than 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting men, women, parents, and teens as they navigate mental health, behavioral health, and educational challenges. Beginning therapy can feel intimidating, and trusting the process is not always easy. However, healing, growth, and lasting change are possible. Now is a wonderful time to invest in yourself, rediscover your strengths, choose joy, and reclaim hope for the future.

My approach to therapy

In our sessions we will explore evidence-based practical strategies and skills to help you experience your thoughts and emotions without allowing them to control your actions or define your future. We will look at the opportunities and struggles present in your current season of life, identify what's working well, and develop a mindset and a set of strategies that can help you in the areas of your life where you may feel stuck or overwhelmed. In our sessions I will be encouraging and motivating you through each step. I truly believe that with a little support you can build the resiliency to navigate any situation life may throw at you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I look forward to getting to know you and hearing your story. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive space where you can share openly and feel genuinely understood. We'll talk about the people, values, and experiences that are most important to you, as well as the strengths that have helped you navigate life's challenges. As we begin this journey, we'll work collaboratively to develop meaningful and realistic goals for therapy that align with your hopes and values.
