Great to meet you!

I am a queer therapist who specializes in trauma, anxiety, depression, and body image/weight/eating disorder concerns. I center my work in radical acceptance; my aim is to create an affirming, nonjudgmental, and engaging therapeutic experience for you to feel safe in this vulnerable work. By exploring emotions, thoughts, behaviors, and energy—both past and present—we will work together to build an authentic life of meaning and purpose. We will work towards truly healing, not just fixing your symptoms.

My approach to therapy

Meeting with me should feel like a conversation with a warm, supportive (yet directive) friend. I take an eclectic approach, integrating various modalities to center your emotional experience as a compass towards authenticity. I blend AEDP, IFS, somatic experiencing, mindfulness, and narrative therapy to tailor our work to fit your needs. I'm also a firm believer that humor has an (important) place in therapy!

What you can expect from me

Our sessions will feel engaged, interactive, and collaborative; you are the expert of your own life, and it's our job to declutter what's getting in the way. By slowing down, allowing yourself to feel, and connecting to your core self, we will begin to identify what gets in the way of feeling happy, fulfilled, and peaceful in life. From there, we can take intentional, deliberate steps towards making that your reality.
