Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified psychiatrist trained at Georgetown University. I provide medication management combined with psychotherapy-informed care, and often address lifestyle factors such as sleep, exercise, nutrition, and relationships as part of treatment. I offer physician-level care through telepsychiatry for adults (18+) across DC, MD, and VA.

My approach to therapy

  • Comprehensive psychiatric evaluation
  • Medication management informed by psychotherapy principles
  • Attention to factors such as sleep, stress, relationships, exercise, and daily routines
  • A collaborative, individualized treatment plan

What you can expect from me

Most new patients can schedule directly. In some cases, I may request a brief 15-minute call prior to booking to ensure a good fit.

For the initial intake, you can expect an in-depth, comprehensive assessment where we’ll work together to understand your symptoms, personal history, and treatment goals. During this 60-minute visit, we’ll:

  • Review your mental health history to understand your unique experience
  • Discuss symptoms, any challenges you're facing, and how these are impacting your life
  • Establish a diagnosis (if applicable) based on your symptoms and history
  • Collaborate on a treatment plan, which may include therapy, medication management, and other strategies to help you achieve your mental health goals

This visit is essential in building a strong foundation for your care and establishes the psychiatrist–patient relationship. After this session, we’ll develop a clear path forward to best support your mental health needs.
