Great to meet you!

I specialize in working with adults navigating familial conflict, low self-esteem, anxiety, and relationship distress stemming from childhood trauma and cultural complexities. I also have an interest in working with immigrant professionals and students, building lives across cultures, and balancing dual identities. As a woman of color, I understand how cultural expectations can affect individuals and manifest as beliefs, patterns, and behaviors that may not serve us; therefore, we will navigate these concerns together in a way that allows you to uphold your cultural values while building a strong sense of self.

My approach to therapy

My goal is to help you create a sense of safety within yourself, develop the tools and skills needed to maintain that safety, and feel more comfortable identifying, expressing, and processing your emotions. I use a mix of trauma work, inner child healing, attachment theories, and CBT, along with mindfulness and different breathing tools in sessions!

My background and training are rooted in trauma-informed care through my work in foster care. I focus on understanding how childhood experiences shape our adult selves and relationships. If this approach resonates with you, I’d be happy to connect and support you in your healing journey.

What you can expect from me

The therapeutic space with me feels warm, supportive, and empowering. I take my time to build rapport and trust with my clients; hence, I move at the pace you feel comfortable with.
