Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Samantha Adams, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia with over a decade of experience supporting adults and teens through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and major life transitions. I specialize in working with women navigating perimenopause, relationship challenges, and generational or attachment wounds. My approach is open-minded, nonjudgmental, and direct. I believe you are the expert in your life—and I’m here to walk alongside you as you reclaim your voice, process past pain, and build the skills you need to move forward.

I hold a master’s degree in counseling and have worked in a variety of settings, including schools, crisis centers, inpatient, and outpatient care. I draw from Attachment Theory, ACT, CBT, Mindfulness, and trauma-informed practices to create a space where healing and lasting change can happen.

My approach to therapy

My approach is eclectic and tailored to each individual. I draw from Person-Centered, Adlerian, CBT, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused therapies. I’m also trained in EMDR and Brain-Based Hypnosis. Whether you're navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, or life transitions, I meet you where you are and adjust the treatment to support your goals. I believe in creating a space that feels safe, collaborative, and growth-oriented—and I’m always learning new techniques to better serve my clients.

What you can expect from me

My counseling style is direct, compassionate, and solution-focused. Clients can expect to feel respected, heard, and supported in a nonjudgmental space where real change can happen. Together, we’ll process through challenges, build insight, and develop practical tools to move forward with strength and clarity. I currently offer sessions via telehealth only.
