Great to meet you!

Welcome!

I'm a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who combines clinical expertise with genuine warmth and empathy. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported—whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself.

I believe that you are the expert of your own life. My approach is collaborative and respectful, inviting us to explore how your genetics, personal history, and environment shape your current experiences. Together, we'll work toward greater self-awareness, healing, and growth.

My practice is rooted in a humanistic-existential framework, grounded in Gestalt principles that view you as a whole person—mind, body, and emotions—in constant relationship with your environment. I also draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help deepen emotional awareness and foster stronger, more secure interpersonal connections.

If you're looking for a thoughtful and engaged partner in your mental health journey, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

My approach to therapy

I incorporate a psychodynamic approach to help uncover unconscious motivations and explore how they contribute to emotional dysregulation and relational patterns. This deepens my humanistic-existential work by offering insight into how past experiences shape present behavior, helping clients develop greater self-understanding and compassion.

When appropriate, I also consider the role of psychiatric medication as one tool—among many—in supporting mental health and well-being. If medication is indicated, we’ll have a thoughtful, informed discussion about your options, with your preferences and comfort at the center of the decision-making process. My goal is to offer integrative care that honors the complexity of each individual and supports lasting emotional growth.

What you can expect from me

I approach each initial session as a thoughtful and collaborative conversation. During your first visit, we’ll explore your personal history, current concerns, and goals for treatment. My aim is to create a space that feels safe, respectful, and judgment-free—where you can speak openly and feel heard.

This initial evaluation helps me understand the full picture of your mental health, so we can develop a treatment plan that’s both effective and tailored to you. I view healing as a deeply personal process, and I bring compassion, curiosity, and clinical insight to every step of our work together. From the very beginning, my hope is that each session feels like a meaningful step toward greater clarity, connection, and hope.
