Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been working in the field for the past 8 years. I take pride in areas of expertise including substance use disorders (18+) and working with young adults. I use a solution-focused approach to help clients achieve goals, and measure success on a daily basis. Remember- recovery is not linear!

A bit about my approach to therapy

Struggling with substance use, depression, anxiety, or everything that feels in between? Looking for support in daily functioning and understanding "life on life's terms"? I believe in creating a safe space for individuals to process thoughts, feelings, and to utilize our sessions together for what is needed most. I use both CBT and DBT concepts and skills to assist individuals in exploring a number of things ranging from negative thoughts/behaviors, to interpersonal effectiveness skills.

What you can expect from our first session

Seeking therapy and picking up the phone can be tough. Taking the first step towards change is always the hardest...and I am here to support you throughout your journey. I am here to create a safe space for you to process what life must bring; and together we will work on things such as coping mechanisms, boundary setting, and overall personal growth.
