Great to meet you!

I hold a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin and have over 12 years of experience providing trauma-informed psychotherapy. I specialize in helping adults heal from childhood trauma, attachment wounds, anxiety, and low self-worth using a relational, culturally responsive approach. By creating a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship, I help clients understand long-standing patterns, process painful experiences, and build a more compassionate relationship with themselves.

My approach to therapy

My relational, attachment-oriented approach emphasizes building a trusting therapeutic relationship where difficult emotions and early experiences can be explored with curiosity and compassion. Because trauma is stored in both the mind and the body, I use experiential approaches such as EMDR, somatic therapy, and parts work to help regulate your nervous system, strengthen your capacity for connection, and create lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation of safety and trust. I'll want to understand what brings you to therapy, the challenges you're facing today, and the life experiences that have shaped you, while also taking time to learn about your strengths, values, and hopes for therapy. Together, we'll begin creating a path forward that feels collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs.
