Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with teens, young adults, and adults navigating stress, trauma, life transitions, and challenges with self-worth and identity. My approach is collaborative, practical, and focused on helping clients better understand themselves while building skills to manage emotions, relationships, and everyday stressors.

I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT-informed strategies, and strengths-based techniques to support emotional regulation, healthier thinking patterns, and meaningful change. I believe therapy should be a space where people feel safe, respected, and supported while doing the work of growth and healing.

My goal is to help clients build confidence, develop healthier coping strategies, and move toward the life they want to create.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and focused on helping clients better understand themselves while building practical skills for everyday life. I work with clients to identify patterns in thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and to develop healthier ways of coping with stress, relationships, and life transitions.

I often integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and DBT-informed strategies to support emotional regulation, challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, and strengthen decision-making. I also take a strengths-based approach, helping clients recognize their resilience and build on the strengths they already have.

I believe therapy should be a space where clients feel safe, respected, and empowered to explore their experiences, develop insight, and make meaningful changes that support their long-term wellbeing.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session to be a supportive and relaxed conversation focused on getting to know them and understanding what brings them to therapy. We will talk about current challenges, important life experiences, and what they hope to gain from therapy. I also take time to explain how the therapy process works and answer any questions so clients feel comfortable moving forward.

Together we begin identifying goals and areas of focus, whether that involves managing stress, improving emotional regulation, working through past experiences, or building confidence and healthier relationships. My goal in the first session is to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported while beginning to develop a clear direction for the work we will do together.
