Great to meet you!

I have experience working with adolescents, teens, young adults, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds. I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, ADHD/ADD, behavioral challenges, oppositional defiant behaviors, family conflict, LGBTQIA+ concerns, and parenting challenges. I believe that feeling heard, understood, and validated is an essential part of the therapeutic process. I am committed to creating a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients can openly share their experiences, explore life's challenges, and feel empowered to move toward meaningful growth and healing.

My approach to therapy

I take a holistic and collaborative approach to therapy, recognizing that every client brings unique experiences, strengths, and goals. I tailor treatment to each individual's needs by drawing from a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Problem-Solving Therapy (PST), Humanistic Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Strength-Based Therapy. Together, we'll identify what works best for you while building on your existing strengths and developing practical tools for lasting growth.

I also believe that healing doesn't always have to feel heavy. When appropriate, I incorporate humor into the therapeutic process to help foster connection, ease difficult moments, and create a comfortable, authentic space where clients feel safe being themselves. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, validated, and empowered throughout your journey.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is getting to know you and creating a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and supported. We'll spend time discussing what brings you to therapy, your personal history, your current challenges, and what you hope to gain from our work together. There is no pressure to share everything at once, we'll move at a pace that feels right for you.

I believe that building a strong therapeutic relationship starts with listening, validating your experiences, and meeting you where you are. Together, we'll begin identifying your strengths, exploring patterns that may be impacting your well-being, and discussing goals that are meaningful to you. By the end of the session, you'll have a better understanding of my approach and we'll collaborate on a plan that feels personalized to your needs.
