Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Sam and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with over three years of experience helping individuals navigate life's transitions and challenges. I believe that seeking therapy is not a sign of weakness - but a powerful act of strength, courage, and self-awareness. I'm so glad you are taking this step!

I currently have my Master's degree in Social Work from Tulane University and a Bachelor's of Health Sciences from University of the Sciences in Philadelphia (currently Saint Joseph's University). I have experience working in community health and in-patient psychiatric units.

My approach to therapy

I work with adults and adolescents above 15 years old facing a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life stress. My approach is collaborative and compassionate utilizing evidence based practices, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and strength-based techniques to support your individual growth, gain insight, and build resilience.

What you can expect from me

Mental health impacts every part of our lives, yet it's often the part that gets pushed to the back-burner. My goal is to create a warm, open space where you can feel comfortable, safe, supported, and empowered - exactly as you are. You can expect to work as a team to create individualized goals tailored to your wants and needs. Reaching out is a bold first step - and I'm here when you're ready.
