Great to meet you!

I work with adults who are often highly self-aware but still feel stuck. Many of my clients understand why they feel the way they do, yet continue struggling with anxiety, emotional overwhelm, perfectionism, relationship patterns, burnout, self-criticism, or the lasting effects of trauma.

I specialize in trauma, anxiety, emotional regulation, relationship dynamics, and self-worth work. I’m trained in EMDR and integrate approaches like CBT, DBT, and parts work depending on the client’s needs and goals.

I have over 16 years of experience in mental health across outpatient, residential, and leadership settings.

My style is warm, grounded, collaborative, and direct. I believe therapy should be a place where you can be honest, challenged, understood, and supported without feeling judged or reduced to a diagnosis.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, practical, and focused on meaningful change rather than insight alone. Many of the people I work with have spent years analyzing themselves, understanding their patterns intellectually, and trying to “logic” their way out of anxiety, emotional pain, unresolved trauma symptoms, or relationship struggles. Often, that still leaves them feeling stuck. Therapy with me focuses not only on understanding patterns but actually shifting them.

I integrate EMDR, CBT, DBT, IFS, and trauma-informed work to help clients process difficult experiences, improve emotional regulation, build healthier relationships, and respond differently to stress, emotions, and triggers. Sessions are tailored to the individual and may include deeper trauma work, practical coping tools, boundary work, communication skills, or identifying the underlying patterns that continue to repeat.

My goal is for therapy to feel useful, honest, emotionally attuned, and genuinely transformative over time.

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on understanding what’s bringing you to therapy, the patterns you’ve been struggling with, and what you want to feel differently in your life moving forward. We’ll discuss your history, current concerns, goals, and begin identifying what approaches may be most helpful for you.

You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. My role is to help organize what feels overwhelming, identify the patterns contributing to distress, and create a treatment approach that feels personalized, realistic, and effective.
