I’m a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the state of Pennsylvania. I went to the University of Pittsburgh for my Master’s in Social Work. I have worked in drug and alcohol, community mental health centers, and private practice providing individual and group therapy to all ages. I use DBT, CBT, MI, and EMDR mainly for my modalties
My approach uses a lot of laughter, really connecting with the client on a personal level, using lots of validation, and being direct in my communication. This comes from a belief that each client is the expert in themselves.
I specialize in treating trauma, late diagnosed autistics and ADHDers, and the LGBTQ+ community. I work from strengths-based and trauma- perspectives. I’m LGBTQIA+, body positive and neurodivergent affirming.
Clients can expect me telling them how I approach this role and that I believe skill-building is the utmost importance. I want my clients to feel so skillful and self-sufficient, that my job is useless to them. I love to learn about people's hobbies and support systems. Finally, we will create a treatment plan
