Great to meet you!

Finding a therapist who truly gets you, your background, your relationships, and the pressures you carry can be the difference between therapy that feels like homework and therapy that actually changes things. I bring both clinical expertise and a deeply personal understanding of what it means to navigate identity, belonging, and relationships in a complex world. I work with adults across the full range of human experience: women sorting through life transitions, men learning to open up in ways they never felt safe to before, and anyone wrestling with questions of who they are and where they belong. I specialize in anxiety, depression, adjustment to life changes, and the messy, beautiful work of building healthier relationships with others and with yourself.

My approach to therapy

I'm warm, curious, and direct. I won't just nod and reflect your words back at you. My approach is humanistic at its core: I believe you are fundamentally capable of growth, and my job is to help you access that. I draw on attachment theory to understand the relational patterns that shape how you connect (or disconnect) with the people in your life, and I use Solution Focused Brief Therapy to keep us grounded in where you want to go, not just where you've been. I'm also strength-based, meaning we'll spend real time identifying what's already working in you, even when everything feels broken. Sessions are collaborative, honest, and often a little lighter than people expect therapy to be.

What you can expect from me

The first session is yours to shape. I'll ask you to share what's bringing you in because I genuinely want to understand your story and what's feeling most heavy right now. We'll talk about what you're hoping to get out of therapy, what you've tried before (if anything), and what's felt missing. I'm not going to hand you a diagnosis or a homework list on day one. Instead, you'll leave with a sense of being heard and a clearer picture of what we might work on together. My goal is that by the end of our first conversation, therapy already feels less like a leap into the unknown.
