Great to meet you!

I’ve worked with adolescents finding their way into adulthood, millennials feeling stuck or overwhelmed, and professionals juggling pressure, expectations, and emotional burnout. I’ve helped people process trauma, manage anxiety and depression, and rebuild a sense of wholeness when life has knocked them off balance. I don’t believe therapy needs to feel stiff or scripted to be effective. I value honest conversations, emotional safety, and practical progress. My approach is supportive but direct, compassionate but grounded. We move at your pace, while still working toward real change. Above all, I want you to feel seen and not judged. You do not have to have everything figured out to start. Therapy is a space where you get to show up as you are, and together we work toward feeling more grounded, more capable, and more like yourself again.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is honest, structured, and responsive to where you are in your life. Trust comes first. Without a strong therapeutic relationship, it is hard to go deep or make meaningful progress, and I take that responsibility seriously. I work to create a space where you feel safe, validated, and understood, while also being challenged in supportive and intentional ways. Sometimes, talking about the problem is not enough. I believe therapy should lead to real change, not just awareness. I use evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients develop coping strategies and skills that are practical, effective, and sustainable outside of session. Therapy with me is active and collaborative. My goal is for you to eventually leave therapy, when you are ready, feeling that the work was meaningful, beneficial, and truly worth your time and effort.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about connection, not interrogation. I use a conversational intake style and do not expect you to share your entire story right away. I am still a new person in your life, and it makes sense to move at a pace that feels comfortable and respectful of your boundaries. We will focus on what brought you to therapy, what feels most pressing, and what you hope to gain from the process. I will guide the conversation with intention, while creating space for you to share only what feels right in that moment. We will also talk about goals, treatment planning, and what working together might look like, so you leave the session feeling grounded, supported, and clear about how therapy can help.
