Great to meet you!
Hi, I’m Sam, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of The Maternal Space.
I’ve always had a heart for mothers. As a mom, I know motherhood can be such a beautiful and meaningful part of life, but it can also feel overwhelming, exhausting, lonely, and sometimes just really hard. There are so many changes that come with becoming a mom and figuring out who you are in the middle of it all.
I created The Maternal Space because I wanted mothers to have a place that is just for them. A place where you can come in, take a breath, and not have to pretend that everything is okay. You can talk about the things that feel too heavy, the things you’re struggling with, or even the things you’re not quite sure how to put into words.
Whether you’re a new mom trying to find your footing, feeling overwhelmed by everything on your plate, struggling to find yourself again, or simply feeling like you need someone in your corner, I’m here to walk alongside you.
My hope is that when you’re in this space, you feel comfortable being yourself. No judgment, no expectations, and no need to have it all figured out. Just a space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported.
You spend so much of your time caring for everyone else. The Maternal Space is a place for you, too.
