Great to meet you!

I'm a clinical social worker in NYC with a degree from Hunter College. I have over a decade of clinical experience, which began while working as a case planner in the NYC foster care system. At Hunter I was accepted into the Child Trauma program through the National Child Traumatic Stress Network and received specialized training in trauma-informed, attachment based modalities including Child Parent Psychotherapy.

I have extensive experience working with care-givers and parents of young children navigating parenting challenges, from adjusting to a new baby to processing and healing from significant attachment disruptions. I also trained in Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders through Postpartum Support International to help support clients through the challenges of the preconception, perinatal, and postpartum phases of family planning.

I am a certified Level 1 AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) therapist and I am currently completing certification with the Internal Family Systems (IFS) Institute. These models invite clients to go a little deeper than in traditional talk-therapy, but to do so in an intentional, thought out, and collaborative way that results in a sense of catharsis, release, and self-compassion. These approaches benefit many types of clients but are particularly helpful for those struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, with a history of interpersonal, and childhood trauma.

I work often with clients who identify as "people-pleasers"-empathetic, "emotional sponges" who often find themselves prioritizing others at the cost of their own well-being. are incredibly tuned in to the world around them, but can become overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, and burnout. My integrative approach helps them develop stronger boundaries, reconnect with their needs, and find renewed balance and purpose.

My approach to therapy

My approach blends deep emotional work with practical tools. I draw from relational and emotion-focused models that encourage clients to “tune in and glance back”—exploring the past with compassion to understand current patterns. These models help clients connect with neglected or shamed parts of themselves, not to silence them, but to finally listen—and heal.

That said, insight alone is not enough. It’s a powerful start—but lasting change comes through action. That’s why I integrate evidence-based, action-oriented tools from modalities like CBT, DBT, ACT, and Behavioral Activation.

What you can expect from me

My style is relaxed and conversational. I work from a unique NYC seaside office and I carry that ocean-front vibe into our sessions to curate a respite from the stressors of the day- a place to calm the nervous system and reset.

The first few session, through a narrative and conversational process, my clients and I work together to set specific goals for treatment and to identify barriers to meeting these goals- past trauma, maladaptive thinking/relationship patterns, current stressors.

The path to healing for my clients always starts with building insight and self compassion. We then use evidence-based interventions to disrupt old patterns and make meaningful changes. My clients often notice positive shifts in their functioning as well as an improved sense of self within weeks of beginning work together. Together, we identify what needs shifting and build the skills to do so meaningfully, without band-aid solutions or quick fixes. My goal is not temporary relief—it’s sustainable, long-term transformation.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, low self-worth, life transitions, or simply seeking a deeper connection with yourself, I'm here to walk beside you—not as the expert on your life, but as a collaborator in your healing journey.

Curious if we’re a fit? I offer free 15-minute Zoom consultations.
