Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Sam. I work with adults, adolescents, couples, and parents who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or disconnected. Many of the people I see are navigating anxiety, OCD, trauma, eating disorders, relationship stress, or the emotional weight of supporting a struggling child—whether that child is young or grown.

If you’re here, chances are something feels heavy or uncertain. You might be functioning on the outside but exhausted on the inside. My role is to create a space where you don’t have to hold it all together.

I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative and real. You bring your lived experience; I bring clinical expertise and a steady presence. Together, we work toward meaningful, sustainable change.

My approach to therapy

My work is grounded in evidence-based, trauma-informed care, but therapy with me never feels like a checklist. I tailor treatment to the person in front of me, drawing from cognitive and behavioral approaches, emotion-focused work, and attachment-based perspectives.

For individuals, that may mean addressing anxiety patterns, intrusive thoughts, trauma responses, or long-standing relational dynamics. For couples, we focus on improving communication, rebuilding trust, and strengthening emotional connection. For parents, we work on reducing self-blame, clarifying boundaries, and finding steadier ways to support your child without losing yourself in the process.

I also integrate spiritual or existential exploration when it’s meaningful to you. Whether that’s reconnecting with values, processing faith transitions, or exploring deeper questions of identity and purpose, we approach it thoughtfully and in a way that aligns with your beliefs.

What you can expect from me

You can expect warmth, honesty, and structure. I will listen carefully and take you seriously. I will also gently challenge patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

I prioritize clear goals and ongoing progress, so we regularly check in about what’s working and what needs adjusting. Therapy should feel purposeful, not endless.

Most importantly, you can expect a space where you don’t have to be perfect. Healing isn’t about becoming someone else — it’s about understanding yourself more clearly and building a life and relationships that feel more grounded and intentional.
