Great to meet you!

I am a licensed creative arts therapist and specialize in working with kids and adolescents. I work to provide empowerment and build self-esteem using a person-centered approach through creativity and self expression. I am trauma informed and have experience in processing and treating those who have experienced traumatic events.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I utilize a variety of creative outlets that best fit the needs of the individual and where they are at in the moment. I allow my clients to take the lead in their healing journey while helping them gain insight and self awareness so they are able to increase resiliency. I incorporate other psycho-therapeutic interventions when needed and continue to educate myself to provide the best care possible.

What you can expect from our first session

I occasionally bring humor to the sessions (therapy doesn't always have to be serious!) and treat everyone with compassion. This is a judgment free zone! The goal when leaving a session is to feel heard, seen, and accepted. I provide some structured interventions through art making, while allowing my clients to also engage in whatever it is they are needing in that moment.
