Great to meet you!

My name is Samantha Miller, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a background in Art Therapy. My passion is to create a safe, judgment-free space where clients can explore their experiences and move toward overall wellness using their own unique strengths.

While I draw from a variety of evidence-based practices, I believe that therapy should be as individual as the person receiving it. I tailor my approach to meet each client’s specific needs, with experience in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Focused Therapy.

My approach to therapy

Building a strong therapeutic relationship is my top priority from our very first session. I strive to create a comfortable, collaborative environment that encourages open and honest dialogue. I believe the relationship you build with your counselor is one of the most important aspects of therapy.

Together, we’ll identify your strengths, set meaningful goals, and work toward lasting change. I like to discuss goals early in our work—typically within the first or second meeting—and revisit them regularly to celebrate progress and adjust as needed.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other, exploring what brought you to therapy, and setting some goals that we’ll work toward together.
