Great to meet you!

My name is Samantha, I often go by Sam. I have been working in the mental health field for almost 6 years and recently obtained my LPC. I have experience in both private practice and community mental health. I attended Emory & Henry College for undergrad and received my masters from Walden University in 2022. I have worked with a wide variety of clients and have found my passion in helping clients heal from trauma and develop healthy relationships with self and others.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I take a person-center approach first; meaning, you get to tell me what you want from therapy. I utilize EMDR, CBT, and psychoanalytic interventions to assist in trauma work, relationships, and changing behavior and thought patterns. I also feel it is important for individuals to get what they come for; so, we may have difficult conversations and work through tough situations. You are the expert in you! I am here to support you in your journey. I am an EMDRIA approved Certified EMDR therapist.
