Great to meet you!

Hello! I have been a nurse for 15 years and a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for 5 years. I have an extensive background in critical care, emergency medicine, in-patient pediatric psychiatry, outpatient adult-gerontology psychiatry, substance use treatment, and dual-diagnosis. I am an expert in treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder I and II, PTSD, psychotic disorders, and personality disorders.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I provide a holistic and collaborative approach in treating patients.

What you can expect from our first session

Each session is tailored to the client’s unique needs and may include psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and supportive therapy. Clients can expect to gain:

  • Greater insight into their mental health challenges and how these impact their daily functioning.
  • Improved coping skills to manage symptoms such as anxiety, depression, mood instability, and trauma responses.
  • Education on their diagnosis and treatment options, including medications, lifestyle strategies, and therapy recommendations.
  • A collaborative treatment plan with clear goals such as symptom reduction, improved functioning, and enhanced quality of life.
  • Ongoing support in tracking progress and making adjustments to care as needed.

My goal is to create a safe and therapeutic space where clients feel comfortable discussing their concerns and are motivated to actively participate in their recovery.
