Great to meet you!

I'm a therapist for women, and I work mostly with anxiety and trauma. Many of the women I see are sensitive, hard on themselves, and quietly exhausted from holding everything together.

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida and a Registered Social Worker in Ontario, with 10+ years of clinical practice and an MSW from the University of Toronto. I was born in Buenos Aires and grew up in Toronto, so I know something about rebuilding yourself in a new place. I’m also a mom who understands firsthand how easy it can be to lose yourself in caring for everyone else. I work with clients in both English and Spanish.

My approach to therapy

I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches depending on what feels most supportive and helpful for you. This includes Internal Family Systems (IFS), where we can get curious about the parts of you that overthink, people-please, shut down, or become self-critical, and we can begin to understand them as protective rather than as proof that something is wrong with you. I don't believe people are broken. I also draw from acceptance and commitment therapy, attachment-based work, mindfulness, and self-compassion. There is no one-size-fits-all protocol; therapy is tailored to your unique needs, goals, and experiences.

My work is trauma-informed, and I pay attention to what your body is communicating, not only what you can put into words.

I'll be a real person with you rather than a blank screen, and I'll gently challenge you when it feels helpful. Healing is not linear, and I'll hold that with you on the weeks when it doesn't feel like progress.

What you can expect from me

The first session is mostly me listening. I'll ask what brought you here and what has been hardest lately, and I'll take real time to understand your history, not only the problem you walked in with. You don't have to arrive organized or know exactly what you need.

By the end, you should have a clearer sense of what we would work on together and how. Nothing to perform, and nothing you have to hold together in here.

Before we begin, I offer a free 15-minute consult so you can ask questions and get a feel for whether I'm the right fit. Sessions are online, Monday through Thursday, in English or Spanish.
