Great to meet you!

I believe therapy works best when clients feel genuinely heard, respected, and supported without judgment. My goal is to create a space where you can speak openly about what you are experiencing while feeling understood as a whole person, not just a diagnosis or problem to solve.

I understand that starting therapy can feel uncomfortable, overwhelming, or even intimidating at times. Because of this, I focus on creating an environment that feels calm, collaborative, and supportive, where clients can open up at their own pace and feel safe enough to grow, reflect, and make meaningful changes.

I believe meaningful progress comes from building a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, honesty, and open communication. My role is to work alongside you in understanding challenges, identifying patterns, and helping you move toward healthier and more sustainable ways of coping and living.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is attentive, solution-focused, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I use practical strategies and research-supported approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, and skill-building interventions to help clients better understand themselves, manage stress, improve emotional regulation, and work through difficult experiences.

I believe therapy should provide both emotional support and practical tools. While processing emotions and experiences is important, I do not believe in talking simply for the sake of talking. My goal is to help clients build practical systems, strategies, and coping skills that create meaningful progress both inside and outside of therapy.

Together, we will work on identifying patterns, improving self-awareness, building healthier responses to stress, and creating realistic strategies that can be applied in daily life. I believe therapy should feel collaborative, purposeful, and focused on helping clients feel more confident and capable over time.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about you: your experiences, your concerns, your goals, and creating a space where you feel comfortable enough to begin opening up at your own pace. Starting therapy can feel unfamiliar or emotionally overwhelming, so my goal is to make the process feel welcoming, supportive, and collaborative from the very beginning.

During the first session, we will spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brought you to therapy. You are welcome to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. There is no expectation to have everything figured out or to immediately discuss the most difficult parts of your life. Therapy is a process built on trust, and that trust develops over time.
