Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Samantha. I’m a licensed clinical social worker with a Master of Social Work from Hunter College, where I specialized in individual, family, and group practice. My clinical experience includes work in chemical dependency treatment, intensive outpatient care, foster care, and veteran support services. I also completed an inpatient psychiatric internship, which deepened my skills in crisis assessment, stabilization, and supporting clients through acute mental health challenges.

I work with adults navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, and relationship patterns that no longer feel sustainable. My passion has been to walk beside people as they make sense of their experiences and find the strength and courage to make the meaningful changes they want in their lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, steady, and collaborative. I believe therapy works best when it centers your voice and lived experience, you bring the expertise of your story, and I bring a holistic, compassionate framework to help you explore it with clarity and intention. I welcome all the parts of your identity and experience that feel important to bring into the room.

Clients can expect empathy, curiosity, and a supportive space to reflect. They can also expect gentle but honest challenge as we identify patterns that may be hindering growth and development. Together, we work toward insight, connection, and meaningful long‐term change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and begin building a foundation for our work together. I’ll review confidentiality and my role as a mandated reporter so you have a clear understanding of your rights and the limits of privacy in therapy. From there, we’ll start developing your treatment plan by exploring what brought you to therapy, identifying your goals, and discussing what you hope to change or better understand. My aim is to create a space where you feel comfortable, informed, and supported as we begin this process.
