Great to meet you!

I'm a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner working in crisis stabilization, acute mental health settings, and addiction medicine. I work with children, adolescents, and adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, panic disorders, sleep concerns, and substance use issues. My goal is to create a supportive and judgment-free space where clients feel comfortable being themselves and talking openly about what they’re experiencing. I understand that seeking help can feel overwhelming, and I strive to make the process collaborative, compassionate, and empowering.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, supportive, and solution-focused. I believe in meeting clients where they are while helping them build practical tools to manage symptoms and improve daily life. I combine medication management with therapeutic support and family-centered care when appropriate, using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and family therapy techniques. I focus on treating the whole person — not just the diagnosis — while creating a safe environment where clients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their treatment decisions.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a welcoming and conversational environment focused on understanding their story, concerns, and goals for treatment. We’ll discuss current symptoms, mental health and medical history, past treatment experiences, medications, and any challenges impacting daily functioning. I also take time to learn about each client’s strengths, support system, and what they hope to gain from care. By the end of the session, clients can expect to have a clearer understanding of potential treatment options and a collaborative plan moving forward.
