Samantha Ruthkosky

I am a New York State licensed Clinical Social Worker who is committed to providing my clients with the tools necessary to learn, grow and heal. I graduated from Adelphi University with my Master's in Social Work and have over 12 years of professional experience working with various populations in a variety of different roles and settings. I have devoted the last couple of years to private practice providing individual, family, and couples counseling to adolescents and adults.

I can assist with a variety of emotional and psychological concerns; such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief /loss, and family conflict. I use a multitude of evidenced based practice interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and a strengths-based perspective that focuses on your internal strengths and resourcefulness.
