Great to meet you!

Welcome! I’m Samantha and my approach to counseling is non-judgmental, supportive and results oriented. I can offer you specific strategies for improving your life and achieving your desired outcomes. My professional experience began at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore and since then has been divided between private practice and hospitals. As is common in these settings, I have extensive experience treating anxiety, depression, addictions and trauma.

My approach to therapy

I aim to offer a warm, supportive and non-judgmental space devoted to understanding and solving your problems. Together we will explore what is troubling you and I will help you reclaim control of yourself, your emotions, and your life efficiently and expertly.

What you can expect from me

In sessions, you’ll have the chance to talk about what is troubling you without judgment or criticism. Together, we will uncover any unhelpful patterns of thinking or behaving and replace them with more adaptive patterns. You will learn to better understand yourself and develop habits that work for you specifically. With time and practice, using these strategies will become second nature and you will find yourself confidently building and navigating the life you want.
