Great to meet you!

It can be exhausting feeling the urge to fix everything and everyone, the pressure to perform and excel, and having to hold it together 24/7. Within the therapeutic space with myself, you don't have to keep that mask on and the facade going. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I aim to be "down-to-Earth" and encourage you to show up as your true self - authentic, messy, and perfectly imperfect.

I provide individual psychotherapy sessions to young adults and adults who may be struggling with:

  • Anxiety/ Generalized Anxiety Disorder
  • Life Transitions and Adjustments
  • Perfectionism
  • People-Pleasing/ Boundary Setting
  • College-Related Stressors / Post-College Transition Into Adulthood
  • Inner Child Work/ Childhood Trauma
  • Eldest Child Related-Issues

My approach to therapy

I believe in utilizing a collaborative approach with my clients to tailor therapy to their specific needs. Together we can explore how to navigate distressing situations, challenge anxiety-inducing thoughts, embrace your own resiliency, and learn to stay grounded amongst the chaos of day-to-day life.

I draw from various modalities such as Psychodynamic Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (CBT). As a trauma professional, I also utilize a holistic, trauma-informed lens to integrate components of inner child work and attachment work into sessions.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating but I want to remind you that there is no shame in needing extra support. Within your first session, we'll discuss what feelings are showing up for you, your reasons for seeking services, and what you hope to achieve while in therapy.

I strive to create a warm, compassionate, and accepting environment, where you feel safe to be vulnerable and can express yourself without fear of judgment. Through our professional relationship, you will be able to process emotions, vent, cry, and even laugh! If you're ready to get started on your healing journey, I offer free 15-minute consultations to see if we'd be a good fit together.
