My name is Samantha Thomas; I am a hard-working mother who balances life and work. I have struggled with homelessness, guilt, and trauma. Throughout the years I have overcome many obstacles and worked hard. I am now a double board-certified Nurse Practitioner. I was a nurse in pediatrics and adults, specializing in trauma. As a Nurse Practitioner I have worked in pediatrics, adults, and clinical research. I have experience in surgery, trauma, and hospital medicine.
Each session is yours; you are the expert in your life and emotions. I allow my patients to share as little or as much as they feel comfortable. I work alongside you in decision making and goal setting. I am here to assist you to celebrate small and large wins, as well as understand realistic goals setting and expectations.
I am a compassionate provider who provides active listening and will assist you in meeting or maintaining your mental health goals. My patients should feel comfortable after each session, feel like an active participant in their care goals, and heard.
