Great to meet you!

I am so glad you’re here. I know how big of a step this is. Reaching out for support and starting this journey is not easy, but you deserve to be reminded you’re never alone.

I’m Samantha and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience working with children, teens, young adults, adults, and families in a multitude of settings. I identify as a white cisgender female (she/her/hers pronouns) who values diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. I am deeply committed to supporting you as you achieve your goals throughout this journey fostering growth and positive change while continuing to meet you where you are at currently utilizing an individualized, client-centered approach.

My goal is simple: to create a safe space where you feel truly heard, respected, valued, and supported as you work through what matters most to you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in empathy and respect, with a focus on empowering clients to overcome obstacles and build resilience. I take an integrative approach - grounded in evidence-based practices, but always attentive and tailored to the unique meaning and context of your experience. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, so our work together will be shaped by what you need and what you’re looking to achieve.

Taking this step to seek support is huge and I strive to create a safe, warm and supportive environment for you to begin your healing journey. I will employ a holistic approach while incorporating a variety of treatment modalities (CBT, DBT, MI) to support you and your goals for treatment.

What you can expect from me

You are the expert here and I want you to think of therapy with me like this: you are in the driver’s seat on this ride, I am just the GPS assisting you in navigating this journey using the tools and resources I have to offer. You choose the pace, the route, the end location/goals, and what your needs and boundaries are along the way. Let's start this ride together to finding your voice and honoring your story.
