Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Samira, and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker passionate about supporting people through times of stress, transition, and self-discovery. Many of the clients I work with come to me feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward—whether they’re navigating new motherhood, struggling with perfectionism or people-pleasing, or simply feeling stretched too thin.

In our work together, I aim to create a warm, empathic, and nonjudgmental space where you feel safe to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself. My approach is collaborative, laid-back, and relational, and I tailor our sessions to meet your unique needs by drawing from various therapeutic modalities.

My style is interactive, curious, and gently direct—I’m here to help you go beneath the surface, increase your self-awareness, and respond to life’s challenges from a place of clarity and peace rather than urgency. Together, we’ll explore what's getting in the way, strengthen your boundaries, and develop practical tools to support lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I believe that healing happens in a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and supported—so I work to create an environment that feels safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental.

I often work with women navigating stress, burnout, identity shifts, or patterns like perfectionism and people-pleasing that can leave them feeling disconnected from themselves and their needs. In our work together, we’ll gently explore what’s going on beneath the surface—whether that’s unhelpful patterns, past experiences, or internal narratives that may be getting in the way.

I use an integrative approach, which means I tailor our work based on your specific goals and needs. I draw from evidence-based modalities while also bringing in mindfulness, somatic awareness, and practical tools you can apply outside of sessions. My style is interactive, curious, and direct—with a focus on both deep insight and real-life change

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and heard. We'll spend time getting to know each other, and I’ll invite you to share what’s bringing you to therapy, what you're hoping to work on, and any questions or concerns you might have.

There’s no pressure to share everything all at once—this is your space, and we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. I may ask some gentle questions to better understand your current challenges, your history, and what support looks like for you. It’s also a chance for you to get a feel for my style and see if we’re a good fit.

Clients often leave the first session feeling a bit of relief—having taken that first step—and with a sense of what our work together might look like. From there, we’ll begin to identify some goals and explore how we can use both insight and practical tools to help you move forward.
