Great to meet you!

I'm glad you're here. Sometimes we reach a point when we know something needs to change, even if we're not quite sure where to begin. You may be struggling within yourself, facing difficulties in a relationship, adjusting to a new season of life, or finding that experiences from the past are still affecting you today.

I work with late teens, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. For clients who want their faith to be part of therapy, I welcome the opportunity to thoughtfully integrate Christian principles in a way that honors your beliefs, values, and goals.

My approach to therapy

I believe good therapy begins with understanding your story and what you want to be different. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all formula, I'll tailor our work to you, drawing from approaches such as Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFCT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

My education includes a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, postgraduate training in Marriage and Family Counseling, and I am currently completing a PhD in Counseling and Psychological Studies with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Ministry.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and you don't need to arrive knowing exactly what to say or where to begin. Our first session is a chance for me to get to know you and for you to share what has brought you in at a pace that feels comfortable. You'll also have time to ask questions and get a sense of whether I feel like the right therapist for you.

If we decide to continue, we'll use what we've learned to determine where to focus our work. If you'd rather connect before scheduling a first session, I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation so you can ask questions and see if we're a good fit.
