Great to meet you!

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with six years of experience helping adults navigate ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety, substance use concerns, and personality disorders. I trained at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing and have a background in neuroscience research, which shapes my practical, brain-based approach to care.

I believe people do best when they’re treated as whole humans—not just a diagnosis. I enjoy breaking down complex mental health concepts into clear, bite-sized explanations so patients understand why they feel the way they do and how treatment helps. My style is collaborative, direct, and supportive.

I’m comfortable working with complex or long-standing symptoms and don’t shy away from difficult cases. I also enjoy working with creatives in the Nashville community and understand the unique pressures that can come with creative work. My goal is to help patients feel empowered, informed, and supported as they move toward meaningful, sustainable change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and practical. I work with patients to understand the full picture—biology, environment, lifestyle, and lived experience—rather than focusing on symptoms alone. I use evidence-based medication management alongside clear, bite-sized education so patients understand how their brains work and why specific treatments are recommended.

I value open, honest conversations and tailor care to each individual’s goals, not just diagnostic criteria. I’m comfortable working with complex or long-standing conditions, including ADHD, mood and anxiety disorders, substance use concerns, and personality disorders. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where patients feel informed, empowered, and actively involved in their care.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a warm, collaborative conversation focused on the challenges you’re facing in your day-to-day life. I’ll ask respectful, in-depth questions about your background, prior treatment experiences, and goals so we can tailor care to your individual needs. My aim is to understand the full picture and work with you to create a plan that feels realistic, supportive, and effective.
