Great to meet you!

I have been providing therapy for the past five years and have had the privilege of supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds in becoming the best versions of themselves. Throughout my career, I have worked with incarcerated individuals, youth in school settings, and "at-risk" youth in Short-Term Therapeutic Programs (group homes). I have also provided crisis intervention services for individuals in the community experiencing mental health emergencies. I believe in meeting clients where they are and creating a space where they can show up authentically without fear of judgment. Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process, and I strive to provide individualized, culturally responsive care that reflects each client's unique experiences, strengths, and goals. As a clinician, I believe my role extends beyond providing support. I also encourage and challenge my clients to recognize their strengths, build resilience, and develop the confidence and skills needed to navigate life's challenges. My goal is to empower each client to use their strengths as tools for growth and lasting positive change.

My approach to therapy

I would describe my approach to therapy as inquisitive and empowering. I believe it is essential for therapists to maintain an open mind and remain curious about the unique experiences and needs of each client. An inquisitive approach fosters empathy, encourages understanding without judgment, and allows for creativity when identifying and implementing treatment modalities. By remaining open-minded and collaborative, I strive to tailor therapy to each client's individual identity, strengths, and goals, creating a space where they feel supported, respected, understood, and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where they are encouraged to show up authentically and take an active role in their treatment. My goal is to begin building a strong therapeutic relationship founded on trust, collaboration, and mutual respect. I believe that establishing this connection early creates a solid foundation for meaningful progress and ensures each client receives compassionate, individualized, and high-quality care throughout their therapeutic journey.
