Great to meet you!

He is a diversely educated and experienced therapist who believes in the potential and individuality of each client's experiences and needs. He accepts Medicaid/Medicare in Ohio.

My approach to therapy

His approach to therapy is client-centered, meaning he believes the client knows best whether the treatment is benefiting him or her. He works to find the most-effective treatment for each individual. He accomplishes this through practicing Feedback Informed Treatment, which is not a specific approach, but a cultural development of seeking the input of the client frequently and effectively, to identify what's working and what might need to be adjusted or changed to find success.

What you can expect from me

Most often, clients are offered suggestions for actions to take between sessions, with the goal of changing behaviors in order to improve daily functioning. Clients also often experience catharsis in being able to talk about things in session that they otherwise would not have been able to say out loud.
