Great to meet you!

I am Dr. Cedrés-Pérez, a licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in evidence-based therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I hold a PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Albizu University in San Juan with extensive training in community, residential, medical and private practices, enabling me to provide compassionate and effective bilingual therapeutic services.

My approach to therapy

My approach emphasizes helping clients develop psychological flexibility—learning to accept difficult emotions while committing to meaningful actions aligned with their values. I work with individuals facing emotional challenges, personality disorders, and substance use, offering a supportive space for mindful exploration and personal growth. I also have extensive experience guiding families of those living with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), fostering balance and understanding. Together, we will collaborate on creating lasting, purposeful change.

What you can expect from me

Our practice provides a safe and affirming space for individuals to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Specializing in emotional dysregulation, mindfulness-based, and acceptance-focused therapies, my practice is dedicated to supporting clients in developing self-awareness, wellbeing, and meaningful change.
