Great to meet you!

My approach to therapy is warm, person-centered, and clinically grounded. I work to create a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where you can speak openly about what you are experiencing. My background in military leadership, Child Protective Services, and the Veterans Administration has given me extensive experience working with trauma, grief, crisis, family stress, and co-occurring concerns. In session, I am calm, compassionate, attentive, and direct with care. My goal is to meet you where you are, help you build insight and coping skills, and support meaningful change in a way that feels respectful and collaborative.

My approach to therapy

Cooperative & direct

My approach is collaborative and honest. I work with you, not at you, while staying professionally direct and clinically grounded.

Cognitively attuned

I read the client's mindset and emotional disposition in each session, adjusting tone and depth in real time to match where they are mentally.

Clear & digestible

I use friendly, accessible language that is warm and easy to understand clinical insight delivered without clinical distance.

What you can expect from me

A safe, judgment free space

Clients walk into a space where they are immediately received not evaluated. The climate is warm, professionally grounded, and designed to lower psychological defenses so honest dialogue can begin from minute one.

I go at your speed

There is no agenda forced onto the client. I read their current emotional bandwidth and clinical readiness what they share, when they share it, and how deeply we go is always a co-authored decision, never a demand.

Direct, clear communication

Clients are never left wondering what is happening or why. I speak plainly translating clinical insight into language that is real, relatable, and immediately useful honesty delivered with care, never bluntness for its own sake.

The therapeutic alliance begins here

Session one is where trust is either built or broken. I am fully present not transactional. The client leaves knowing they have been genuinely heard, not processed through a clinical checklist.
