My path into therapy was profoundly influenced by my experiences as a gay male, which developed my keen understanding of the impact of mistrust and exclusion on mental well-being. This personal journey inspired my doctoral research, where I focused on the complexities of mental health within the LGBTQIA+ community, examining the dynamics of identity, resilience, and the challenges faced by those seeking acceptance and belonging.
