Great to meet you!

My training and expertise, as a Licensed Professional Counselor, is shaped and molded by my academic and seminary education. I feel that I am uniquely qualified to address the spiritual, cultural, emotional and mental challenges of my clients.

My approach to therapy

I take a Rogerian approach to counseling by incorporating the idea that a client has the capacity within themselves to resolve their challenge and I work to facilitate the process. I utilize a sense of humor to assist client to feel at ease in session which allows them to fully participate in a safe space.

What you can expect from me

I ask a question of my clients: What have you learned from the experience that can help you make different choices in the future. The questions is to aid my clients in becoming self aware of their strengths and build self esteem.
