Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Northridge, where I graduated with distinction. I specialize in helping individuals, couples, and families navigate challenges such as anxiety, mood disorders, panic, phobias, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. My research background, including presentations on topics like executive functioning of the brain and cognitive processes, deepens my understanding of how our mental and emotional patterns are shaped, helping me provide thoughtful, effective support that fosters lasting change and healthier relationships.

My approach to therapy

I believe true transformation starts with self-awareness. My therapeutic style is insight-driven, aiming to uncover both conscious and unconscious patterns that bring clarity and inspire change. I tailor my approach to meet your unique needs by integrating various therapeutic methods. These include Attachment-based therapy, which examines how early relationships influence emotional patterns and behaviors; Psychodynamic therapy, which explores unconscious influences and past experiences; and Family Systems therapy, which focuses on how family dynamics shape relationships. Additionally, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help challenge unproductive thought patterns and Gestalt therapy to bring attention to present emotions and experiences. Whether you're facing challenges, seeking personal growth, or enhancing relationships, I am here to offer a space where you can feel empowered and ready to grow.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions with a deeper understanding of themselves, their emotions, and the patterns that influence their behaviors and relationships. Through our work together, they will gain clarity and insight that will help them navigate challenges with more confidence and resilience. Whether addressing mood challenges, anxiety, life transitions, or relationship dynamics, clients will walk away with practical tools and strategies to manage their emotions, improve their relationships, and foster lasting personal growth. Above all, they can expect to feel heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
