Great to meet you!

I’m dedicated to helping adults and families navigate the complexities of depression, anxiety, trauma, domestic violence, adjustment challenges, grief and loss, relationship stress, and self-esteem issues. With over 15 years of experience in social services, I bring a compassionate, trauma-informed, and culturally aware lens to the therapeutic relationship. My passion lies in helping individuals strengthen communication, set healthy boundaries, express emotions, and reconnect with their sense of self. My work is grounded in social justice and committed to challenging systemic issues impacting mental health.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy through a Narrative Therapy lens. I firmly believe in the power of storytelling and its ability to heal, reshape perspectives, and foster empowerment. With a client-centered and collaborative approach, I additionally include techniques from Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Attachment Focused Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. My approach is also influenced by my commitment to social justice, and I continuously work to understand and challenge systemic issues that impact mental health.

What you can expect from me

I strive to create a compassionate and inclusive space where clients feel heard, validated, and understood. Our first session will focus on collaboratively identifying needs and goals, and as a team, we will map out our guide to treatment throughout our journey together. My ultimate goal is to assist you in navigating your unique story towards a path of self-discovery and personal growth.
