Great to meet you!

I am a school social worker who has worked in private practice with adults and children and I specialize in working with parents, women with depression and anxiety, women facing fertility challenges and/or miscarriages, and caregivers.

My approach to therapy

Our origin stories are powerful predictors of how we perceive the world, others and ourselves. My first goal with each client is to understand their story and how it brought them to where they are when they come to see me. I believe change happens by making small changes in habits and thoughts and I also believe that shifts in perception through epiphanies can be transformational. I try to follow a client's lead and ask questions that give a new perspective on the presenting problem.

What you can expect from me

In our first session I will typically ask a client what brings them to therapy and what they hope to achieve by spending time in therapy. Setting a goal might happen during the first or second session depending on the client.
