Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome. I am Sandra Bellerice, MSN, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 16 years of healthcare experience across inpatient, outpatient, community, and telehealth settings.

My clinical background includes providing psychiatric care in both outpatient and inpatient psychiatric settings, where I have treated individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma-related disorders, psychosis, and other mental health conditions. This experience has allowed me to work with clients across a wide range of symptom severity, from routine outpatient care to acute psychiatric stabilization.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and person-centered. I believe that every individual deserves to be heard, respected, and actively involved in their treatment plan. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where clients can openly discuss their concerns and work toward meaningful change.

I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive therapy tailored to each client's unique needs and goals. My treatment style combines evidence-based care with a holistic understanding of the connection between mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Together, we focus on symptom management, improving daily functioning, building resilience, and achieving long-term wellness.

Whether you are seeking support for ADHD, anxiety, depression, life stressors, or other mental health concerns, I am committed to meeting you where you are and partnering with you throughout your healing journey. My goal is to empower you with the tools, education, and support you need to thrive and live a more balanced, fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and patient-centered. I believe that mental health treatment works best when clients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their care. I take time to understand each person's unique experiences, challenges, strengths, and goals before developing an individualized treatment plan.

I utilize evidence-based practices, including psychiatric evaluation, medication management, psychoeducation, and supportive therapy. My goal is not only to reduce symptoms but also to improve overall quality of life, daily functioning, and emotional well-being.

With experience in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, I understand that mental health exists on a spectrum and that each person's journey is different. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients can openly discuss their concerns and feel supported throughout the healing process.

Together, we work as a team to identify realistic goals, develop effective coping strategies, and build long-term resilience and wellness.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation in a supportive and judgment-free environment. We will discuss your current concerns, symptoms, medical and mental health history, lifestyle factors, and treatment goals.

My priority is to get to know you as a whole person, not just your diagnosis. Together, we will explore what has been working, what challenges you are facing, and how those challenges may be affecting your daily life, relationships, work, or school performance.

If appropriate, we will discuss treatment options, including medication management, therapy recommendations, lifestyle modifications, and community resources. You will have the opportunity to ask questions, share your concerns, and participate actively in developing a treatment plan that aligns with your goals.

By the end of the session, you can expect to have a better understanding of your symptoms, a clear plan moving forward, and a collaborative partnership focused on supporting your mental health and overall well-being.
