Great to meet you!

My name is Sandra, and I am a bilingual therapist

fluent in English and Spanish, with 13 years of experience

helping adults navigate family stress, grief, codependency related to a family members substance use, individuals in recovery from substance use, and the weight of anxiety and life transitions. I create a safe, non-judgmental space where your story comes first. I am here when you are ready.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and grounded in understanding your specific situation before anything else. I draw on a range of evidence-based methods, combining structured techniques that help you recognize and shift unhelpful patterns with deeper, more exploratory work. For clients in recovery from substance use, I use approaches built around motivation and personal values, meeting you exactly where you are in the process. For families, I bring systems thinking to help everyone understand how patterns form and how they can shift. Sessions feel like an honest conversation with someone who has taken time to genuinely know your situation.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for us to get acquainted. I will ask what is going on in your life, what brings you to therapy now, and what a good outcome would look like for you. My

goal is to understand your full picture before we map a direction together. You should leave feeling heard and with a clearer sense of how we are going to work.
