Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical psychologist. I am licensed in the State of Massachusetts and Florida. I trained and worked in different settings (inpatient, outpatient, community mental health, school, VA settings) with clients from kids in elementary school to the elderly. I work with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and relationship issues. I provide individual, couples, and family therapy.

My approach to therapy

I use an integrative approach to therapy where I may combine different approaches, depending on the issues that clients want to focus on. I generally start with cognitive behavioral therapy which is a practical approach that can be explained to clients in easy to understand terms. I help clients to break down the problem so that they can understand the causes and the effects and then we focus on what they can do differently that will bring about a solution.

What you can expect from me

I focus on the strengths that clients bring to therapy. I help to remind them that there is more to them than just their problems and help them to shift their focus from the problem to also finding the solutions. I believe that they have a right to a life that is joyful and fulfilling and my goal is to end each session with something positive they have learned about themselves.
