Great to meet you!

I graduated from Multnomah University with a Bachelor of Arts in biblical and theological studies in 2016. I provided pre-marriage, marriage, and crisis counseling in a church setting for twenty years. My husband and I provided in-home care for foster children for ten years. In 2022 I earned my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University. The same year I started my private practice, LovedAlive, as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate. And I just received my full LMFT license in September of 2026.

My approach to therapy

I use an integrative approach drawing primarily from attachment theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy, family systems theory, trauma-informed practice, Christian theology, and neurobiological concepts. This approach helps individuals and couples understand how attachment wounds and personal histories shape present-day triggers and survival strategies, and develop greater emotional regulation, vulnerability, empathy, and attunement.

What you can expect from me

The goals that I typically set for my clients are to identify attachment patterns, process past relational trauma, improve emotional regulation, set relational boundaries, gain communication skills, and improve self-esteem.
