I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) offering support for families, adolescents and adults. I have practiced in several settings including school, group home, hospital, and outpatient mental health. I specifically worked with adolescent boys with complex trauma and problematic sexual behaviors. I completed my master’s degree in social work from Columbia University in New York.
I incorporate elements of CBT, ACT, DBT and parts work. Everyone has strengths, and I want to build on all the things that already make you great. By utilizing CBT, we can better understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and inner experiences. We can identify patterns of thinking that may be contributing to distress and develop practical strategies to support healthier, more balanced ways of responding. With parts work, we explore the different parts of ourselves that may have developed to protect us, cope with difficult experiences, or meet important needs. Rather than judging or trying to eliminate these parts, we approach them with curiosity, compassion, and understanding.

Therapy starts with an intake session, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. You will have a welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, while also feeling supportive. From there, we’ll work together in sessions that follow to make these goals a reality for you.
