Great to meet you!

I graduated from The University of Pennsylvania with my MSW in May of 2020. I have carried out a passion for helping those in need from a young age and found that working in this field is exactly where I am meant to be. I have worked most of my career with adolescents and children, also providing therapy for adults and older adults. I have experience in various levels of care working on an inpatient unit for many years, in a school, head-start program, as well as partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment centers. I am trained in CBT and DBT and use these as an integral part of the therapy I provide to my clients. I am open-minded, non-judgmental, creative in my approaches, and work hard to help you meet your goals while tackling challenges that may arise along the way.

My approach to therapy

I am present and grounded with my clients, allowing space for them to share their problems while providing helpful feedback as needed to solve problems, teach ways of coping, and helping them to access their inner strengths and abilities. I will take the time to educate my clients on coping skills as well as engage in discussion to help lessen the burden of ones pain, hurt, or intense emotions. I will work with my client to address their goals in realistic and time-sensitive ways to help them consistently make progress and improve their overall quality of life.

What you can expect from me

You will leave these sessions with a greater sense of self and accomplishment having learned skills to address problems, cope with distressing thoughts or emotions, and to move forward with ones path towards healing. I will work with you to identify goals and timelines as well as find ways to enhance areas of your life that are leaving you feeling stuck, drained, or unproductive. I want my clients to feel that they can be open and honest and have a safe space to share their hardships while taking away helpful feedback on ways to begin to grow into the best version of yourself.
