Great to meet you!

I'm a psychodynamically trained Clinical Psychologist who has studied and researched various topics related to psychotherapy, training and the teaching of psychology. I have been in practice for about 15 years, working in academic training clinics and community based health centers, helping to train and support clinicians and organizations provide accessible, culturally-informed, and quality mental health services.

My approach to therapy

The relationship with your therapist is one of the most important catalysts for change. It should emphasize your sense of safety, feeling understood, and hopefulness that you can seek change together. My approach to psychotherapy emphasizes this powerful tool and together, we can work to identify treatment goals, the focus and pace of our work and to incorporate the unique culture and background you bring.

What you can expect from me

I help patients uncover and alter relational patterns that may not serve them, bringing insight and supporting and empowering them to experience healthier relationships, self awareness, and weather life transitions with greater satisfaction and ease. You can expect me to inquire about your relationships with key figures in your life and reference our work together as opportunities to build understanding and practice healthy relationship patterns.
